Wake up and Take Action

I find the times that I gain the most in life are the times I do things even though it seems like it is going to be hard or I have not idea how it is going to turn out.

For the most part of my life I live in the safe zone, you know taking care of house, home and kids, being the good mother, partner, women I can be.

But there are other times when I just have this feeling in my gut, that says to be “take action now.”  Five or so years ago, I decided that I wanted to write a book with some friends, Top Coaches Share was born, four books later it was a soaring success.  That adventure lead me to complete several other books with friends and on my own.

Two years ago I had this feeling that I needed to change, I felt trapped by my business and my vision for it’s success.  Not wanting to compromise that vision I made the choice to go back to work.  I felt a burden had been lifted and that with a job to support my family I was then able to create my perfect vision of the business.

Knowing at that point in my life I had more freedom to travel and expand my horizons, I applied for jobs I thought would be interesting and fun regardless of the location.

Deciding to take a job 6 hours away and moving with in 3 months… wow there was much action to be taken to get there!  Thank god for an amazing partner who helped manage the day-to-day tasks.

The Universe pulled all the strings together to get me where I am now, the perfect place to sun my soul and let the water energize me.

These are just a few examples of when I took complete advantage of the Universal power to take care of me during a change.  I decided to take action and everything fell into place to make it happen.

But how was a able to do that?

Here are the strategies I follow:

1. Extreme Self Care – Self Care is about taking daily actions to create a life you desire. It is simple steps. It is deciding that you need to meditate or journal every day for 10 minutes.  It is deciding that you will say no to at least one request each week.  It is deciding that you are worthy enough to make exercising, even just walking or yoga a daily priority in your life.  Once you can create a calm safe zone in life, you will being to hear the truth your soul has been trying to tell you your entire life.  You mind will be quiet enough to hear what your heart knows is true.

2. Finding your Passion -Now that you can hear your soul’s truth, you will start your journey to find your soul’s passions and purpose. This is a bit of a journey, most people are not born with the specific knowledge for what they are meant for. It is digging into your past and present and looking at what you want your future to be. It is trying things on, trying jobs on, trying hobbies on. This allows you to really feel what it is like and then you can talk to your soul and together you can agree on your purpose.

3. Goals Setting – Once you can hear your soul’s truth… now what are you going to do?  Well you are going to decide what is the most important thing in your life right now! And then you are going to look to see if you are okay where you are now or if you want to expand or improve.  If you do and most people find at least one areas they would like to improve, you set goals. Set goals and milestones and action items and make a solid plan!

Now you have some where to start, throughout the website you will find resources and motivation to help your through this journey, enjoy every aspect of it. Once you start your life will never be the same again!
